A. Participant Categories & Guidelines
There are three participant categories for ISMEI:
1. Oral Presenter
2. Poster Presenter
3. Non-Presenter (Observer)
Note: All participants are required to present and attend onsite. We do not offer an online/virtual participation mode.
B. Submission Requirements
1. Oral Presenter: Must submit an Abstract and, at a minimum, an Extended Abstract (or a Full Paper).

2. Poster Presenter: Must submit an Abstract and a Poster Draft.
3. Special Publication Opportunity: Oral presenters who wish to publish their work in the SEAMEJ Journal can submit a Full Paper using the official SEAMEJ format instead of an Extended Abstract.
C. Selection & Travel Grants
- Limited Seats Available: Selection is competitive due to venue capacity. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis—early submission increases your chances of selection. We encourage you to submit your application as early as possible.
- Travel Grants: Travel grants covering transportation expenses and accommodation will be awarded to the top selected participants (domestic or international). Submit your best work on time for a chance to qualify!
D. Registration Fees:
Registration fees are free for all participants (Paper and Non Paper Presenter).
